- Definition and evolution of the Smart City concept
- Core components and infrastructures (ICT, IoT, Big Data, Cloud, AI, 5G)
- Smart mobility, sustainable energy, smart buildings, and green infrastructure
- Smart governance, policy-making, and citizen participation
- Data security, privacy, and social equity in smart urban systems
- Assessing the social, economic, and environmental impacts of Smart Cities
- International case studies (Barcelona, Singapore, Songdo, Dubai, etc.)
- Design and presentation of small-scale Smart City projects
