This course includes the history of design technology, structural logic, form, structure and material, sustainable and innovative aspects of design technology, the study of the relationship between structures and relevant basic technologies and related vocabulary. Topics include design factors, effective loads and forces, materials and design technologies in history, structure and design technology, contemporary structures, the definition of building and building elements, sustainability, innovative thinking. The course ultimately aims to help students turn their designs into reality through creative and imaginative activity.
