The objective of this course is to investigate the diverse facets of furniture design. Relevant construction techniques and detailing within the field of furniture design are considered. With such an understanding, use of materials with their relevant techniques and details within furniture design is investigated. This course aims to give the students a broad insight into the field of furniture design (including the conditions of history, knowledge, craftsmanship, and industrial production of furniture).
